Rajeev Joshi

President

Rajeev Joshi was appointed as President of DMP North America in February 2026. Rajeev joined DMP North America in 2021 and brings over 30 years of experience in the automotive software industry.

Rajeev has a proven track record in the fields of Mapping, ADAS, Infotainment, Electrification, Climate Control Electronics, and Telematics. At DMP North America, Rajeev has excelled in key roles, including operations, supplier management, software, and IT. He has significantly expanded software development across the company, driving automation, operational efficiency, supplier management, AI strategy, and the Spatial Intelligence AI platform. Rajeev will lead DMP North America as the company expands beyond the global automotive market.

Rajeev earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Bombay, India, and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University.

Duane Garwood

Executive Vice President

Duane Garwood was appointed Executive Vice President of DMP North America Operations in February 2026.  Duane brings more than 35 years of specialized experience developing products and managing technical teams in various domains including ADAS, Infotainment, Climate Control, and Multimedia. He also worked on weapon optic systems for military and commercial product industries.

Prior to joining DMP in 2019, Duane held technical and management positions responsible for product design, development, and delivery of numerous programs at Yazaki, Kelsey-Hayes, Ford Motor Company/Visteon, L3 Communications/EOTech, Dura Automotive, and Magneti Marelli.

Duane earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and an MBA from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

Trip Bonds

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Trip is responsible for DMP North America’s customer strategy and opportunities. With 30 years of strategic account management and sales operations experience, Trip is a proven leader in the business of location-based technologies. 

Prior to joining the company in 2018, Trip successfully led business development teams at TomTom, DENSO, and Guardian Industries. Trip has had a lifelong passion for maps. He has a deep knowledge of the industry and customers’ needs in this space. 

Trip is a two-time graduate of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, earning both his BA in Economics and Political Science and MBA from there. 

Dr. David K. Johnson

Chief Scientist

Dave leads research and development for DMP North America. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Mathematics from the University of Akron and has more than 20 years of experience mathematically modeling physical phenomena. 

His background includes work on inverse problems in optical scattering from shock waves while doing his graduate research at NASA-Lewis Research Center, modeling problems in computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer while at Ford and Visteon, and inverse problems for parameter estimation and blind de-convolution in radar systems and specific emitter identification while at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems. 

He formerly served as president and chief scientist at Michigan Aerospace Corp., where he led a team of scientists working on technology development. He has ten patents covering topics in atmospheric remote sensing and controls. 

Dayneen Webb  

Director of Human Resources

Dayneen Webb is an accomplished human resources leader with more than 10 years of progressive experience driving people strategies that align with business goals in a global, regulated environment. As Director of Human Resources at Dynamic Map Platform North America, she leads comprehensive HR operations spanning benefits, compensation, performance management, employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, payroll and global mobility across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and the Middle East.

A trusted advisor to executive and functional leaders, Dayneen has partnered closely with leadership to design and implement a robust, company‑wide career path framework and to support workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and retention strategies. She launched and operationalized a performance management program aligned with business objectives and leadership expectations, strengthening accountability and talent development across the organization.

Dayneen also brings deep expertise in compliance and risk management, ensuring adherence to EEOC, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, ACA, ERISA, and state and local employment laws. Her experience spans full employee lifecycle leadership, HRIS administration, immigration and visa management, global payroll partnerships, and 401(k) plan governance and audit oversight.

Lee Cook

Controller

Lee is responsible for managing all finance and accounting operations at DMP North America, including the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, all internal and external reporting, and compliance. 

His background includes more than 20 years of automotive experience at an OEM in various finance roles including Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, Corporate Accounting, and operations support for global purchasing and supply chain, manufacturing, marketing, and IT. Lee has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, an MBA, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Michigan.
