Chris Thibodeau

CEO & President, DMP North America

Following Dynamic Map Platform’s acquisition of Ushr in April 2019, Chris was promoted to CEO and President of Ushr. His title changed to CEO and President of DMP North America in February 2022.

Under his leadership, the Ushr brand has scaled to meet the rapidly expanding Level 2+ autonomous vehicle market. DMP NA continues to grow its automotive customer base and develop market-leading software and technology. 

With over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry and the holder of five U.S. patents, Chris ensures DMP North America’s product portfolio is focused on product safety, high performance, and adaptability to each customer’s needs. 

Trip Bonds

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Trip is responsible for DMP North America’s customer strategy and opportunities. With 25 years of strategic account management and sales operations experience, Trip is an expert in automotive location-based technologies. 

Prior to joining the company in 2018, Trip successfully led business development teams at TomTom, DENSO, and Guardian Industries. Trip has had a lifelong passion for maps. He has a deep knowledge of the industry and customers’ needs in this space. 

Trip is a two-time graduate of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, earning both his BA in Economics and Political Science and MBA from there. 

Dr. David K. Johnson

Chief Scientist

Dave leads research and development for DMP North America. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Mathematics from the University of Akron and has more than 20 years of experience mathematically modeling physical phenomena. 

His background includes work on inverse problems in optical scattering from shock waves while doing his graduate research at NASA-Lewis Research Center, modeling problems in computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer while at Ford and Visteon, and inverse problems for parameter estimation and blind de-convolution in radar systems and specific emitter identification while at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems. 

He formerly served as president and chief scientist at Michigan Aerospace Corp., where he led a team of scientists working on technology development. He has six patents covering topics in atmospheric remote sensing and controls. 

Dayneen Webb  

Director of Human Resources

Dayneen oversees human resources operations, compensation and benefits, employee safety, and HR compliance. Dayneen has more than ten years of human resources experience, mostly working in the consulting and software industries. 

Her notable experience includes onboarding and offboarding employees, employee relations, compliance in the U.S. and Canada, benefits administration, and immigration management. 

Prior to joining DMP North America, Dayneen led human resources for GeoDigital International. Dayneen holds a BA in English Literature from Georgia State University and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management. 

Lee Cook

Controller

Lee is responsible for managing all finance and accounting operations at DMP North America, including the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, all internal and external reporting, and compliance. 

His background includes more than 20 years of automotive experience at an OEM in various finance roles including Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, Corporate Accounting, and operations support for global purchasing and supply chain, manufacturing, marketing, and IT. Lee has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, an MBA, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Michigan.
